Kartini International is a dynamic social change management firm committed to promoting equality and equity to improve the socio-economic conditions of women and men of all ages. We provide high quality and innovative services in program and policy evaluation, adolescent development and participation gender equality, adult education / skills training, and microenterprise development.
Founded in 1996, the firm is based on the principles embodied by Raden Ajeng Kartini, a Javanese princess from the 1800’s who was a passionate advocate for women’s education and rights. Our business ethics are based on egalitarian principles that include both women and men and our staff and associates are representative of the people we serve. We actively seek to blend corporate and non-profit structures and practices.
